The Guy Lombardo Music Centre is expanding. Douglas Flood who volunteers his time almost daily, in some fashion, to help at the centre, plans to raise $160,000.00 to build an expansion which will house Guy Lombardo's racing craft "Tempo VII" and give the centre much needed display space.
The Guy Lombardo Music Centre which sits along Wonderland Road in the heart of London, Ontario, Canada - - Guy Lombardo's birthplace - - has been in operation since the mid-1980's. It houses artifacts about the late bandleader's career that were donated by such band members as Fred Higman and Fred Kreitzer. It also houses one of Guy Lombardo's original 1924 records for the Gennette Records label.
