"The Vintage Years Orchestra" is a 14-piece big band orchestra based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and plays favorite songs from the big band era and hits from Broadway and Hollywood.

The orchestra is led by avid big band enthusiast Spencer Smith who has been leading big band orchestras since 1978. Also featured is vocalist Clay Coury, a seasoned professional, who has performed across the USA in various clubs, lounges, and cabarets.

The Vintage Years Orchestra is fashioned after the classic dance bands of the big band era and plays hits songs from the 1920's through the 1960's.

The authentic and delightfully original sound of the band makes for a special evening of wonderful nostalgia and songs played the way they were in decades past.

Playing from a musical libary of over 3,500 vintage arrangements, the orchestra's members include the finest musical talent in North Carolina. The band was formed in 1996 and has played for numerous ebents and private functions.
