The 6th Annual RVA Big Band Weekend will take place on June 6th, 2026 in Mechanicsville, Virginia (a suburb of Richmond) and will be held at the fabulous Richmond East Moose Grand Ballroom (7167 Flag Lane). The Ballroom boasts a 52' x 60' wooden dance floor and plenty of seating for all of your family and friends to join your for a fantastic evening of Big Band dancing.

Joe Enroughty And His Royal Virginians
On Saturday, June 6th, 2026 Glen Boswick And The Sound Of Swing along with Joe Enroughty And His Royal Virginians will take the stage to provide an evening of continuous dance music. Four fabulous vocalists will be on hand to sing some of your favorite Big Band tunes. Doors open at 5:00 PM. Dinner is served starting at 5:30 PM. A FREE dance lesson with Gwendolyn Glenn of "Dance In Class" will take place at 6:15 PM. Both bands alternate dance sets from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Scott Michaels, host of the syndicated Big Band radio show "In The Mood With Scott Michaels," will be joining us to emcee this wonderful evening of continuous dance music. Scott has become an integral part of our Big Band Weekends.

Gwendolyn Glenn of "Dance In Class" will offer a FREE dance lesson and her "Dance In Class" performance team will provide a dance demonstration at one point during the evening.

Tickets can be purchased online with a credit or debit card. No cash, checks, or money orders will be accepted in advance. Dancing only tickets will be available at the door and we will take cash (exact change only).
There will be a CASH BAR available for all attendees. Please remember to bring a valid picture ID with you if you plan to purchase any alcohol.

A: Please bring a valid photo ID. There is no age restriction.
Q: What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
A: Manchester Moose has a large parking lot in front of their building with easy access to the Grand Ballroom. A handicapped entrance is also available. The Big Band Weekend does not offer transportation to and from the event. Attendees may wish to consider taking an Uber or Lyft to the event as alcohol will be available for purchase.
Q: What can I bring into the event?
A: No outside food or drinks are allowed into the Ballroom. There will be a CASH BAR available to all attendees. We will have bottled Water available to all at no charge.
